Injections involve introducing hard-setting slurries and solutions into fractures, cavities and gaps in soil or rock. A distinction is made between injections with and without modification of the construction soil. The choice of injection agent depends on the purpose of the activity and the geological characteristics of the construction soil. Hogedrukinjectie (HDI)

Hogedrukinjectie wordt gebruikt voor het versterken of verdiepen van funderingen van gebouwen, voor het afdichten van funderingen of steunpunten en voor het afdichten van dijken. Na het bereiken van de gewenste diepte wordt een deel van de bodem weggespoeld met vloeistof. De bindmiddelslurry die tegelijkertijd wordt ingebracht, verhardt de overgebleven grond.
